What can I say about tonight other than it was an amazing night. I went there not knowing what to expect and left there feeling uplifted and positive! I had a great time sharing the stage with such a great bunch of singer/songwriters. It was an experience. My first song got off to a rocky start because I wasn’t used to hearing my guitar thru monitors but once everything settled in, I was off running! I was really happy with the set and I feel like the songs I picked really represented me well to an audience that never saw me before.
After the show, I got nothing but positive feedback from everyone. The venue owner, Stephanie, was really cool and she seemed really into my performance. The sound guy (Chip I think his name was) even made me a lil “award” for doing such a great set as he put it. I was just floored that everyone enjoyed it as much as they did. This is EXACTLY what I needed going into the Kevn show next month! No shows between now and then. I’m so looking forward to being back at the Sylvia Theater. It’s an amazing room with amazing sound and an even better group of employees! I felt nothing short of a pro in that place! I can’t wait till the 22nd. It’s gonna be another night to remember!
